Addis Ababa: 29/12/2021 (Neketmi) The Minister of Planning and Development, Dr. Fitsum Assefa said modernizing the trade system is an option to ensure a stable economic flow in the country.
She made the remarks while reviewing the Ministry of Trade and Regional Relations' 100-day plan performance. Dr. Fitsum said the Ministry of Trade and Regional Relations should focus on the homework given to modernize the business system, noting that exports are one of the key areas set by the government and called on all stakeholders to play their part in achieving this.
Quality Policy, Export Development Strategy, Fuel Guide, Financial Services Regulation for Bonding Product Marketing, Khat Market Export Rate Amendment, Livestock, Oil Distribution and Pricing Guidelines, Inclusion of Basic Foods in Sunday Market and Establishment of Petroleum and Energy Authority Proclamation is one of the most important events that took place in 100 days.
State Minister of Quality Infrastructure at the Ministry of Trade and Regional Co-operation, Nellaw Mekonnen, said the ministry is working to modernize the business sector to provide up-to-date services. He called on all stakeholders to play a positive role in the success of the project.
Speaking on the occasion, State Minister of Trade, Trade and Expenditure Promotion, Dange Boru, on his part said the ministry should better use the available resources to ensure the relative benefit of our citizens. He said he looks forward to working.
